There’s a kind of satisfaction when you watch something and afterwards, you have to pause and digest it. That’s exactly what happened when I first discovered Igorrr. First watching “ADHD,” thinking it might be about one thing, and doing a head tilt, like, oh this isn’t what I expected.
Hay una especie de satisfacción cuando ves algo y después, tienes que hacer una pausa y digerirlo. Eso es exactamente lo que pasó cuando descubrí por primera vez a Igorrr. Primero viendo "TDAH", pensando que podría ser sobre una cosa, y haciendo una inclinación de la cabeza, como, oh, esto no es lo que esperaba.
What is this? It suckers you into the rabbit hole. You find yourself as confused as a character in “Digital Circus.”

It’s different. That’s what I like. It’s unexpected and not the typical same tried and true chords regurgitated by another.
Es diferente. Eso es lo que me gusta. Es inesperado y no los típicos mismos acordes probados y verdaderos regurgitados por otro.
They’re more of a gestaltist appeal. The music is one element, and the video is another. There’s just something otherworldly when the two combine that makes it more.
Son más bien un atractivo gestaltista. La música es un elemento y el vídeo es otro. Simplemente hay algo de otro mundo cuando los dos se combinan que lo hace más.
It’s not typical one volume music. It takes you through the entire range with the soft whispers to heavy screams, the spectrum of intensity covering unchecked emotions. You want to look away cringing at some points, but you can’t, eyes glue to the screen like “A Clockwork Orange.”

Bottom line is that we Americans don’t always get to enjoy these foreign moments, but as Igorrr is touring in the States, you now have the chance to take in the live event, as opposed to what we’d typically only get to take in online. My challenge is to decide which is better, the perfected cinematics, or the raw, live version you can’t run from?
La conclusión es que los estadounidenses no siempre podemos disfrutar de estos momentos extranjeros, pero como Igorrr está de gira por los Estados Unidos, ahora tienes la oportunidad de ver el evento en vivo, a diferencia de lo que normalmente solo podemos tomar en línea. Mi desafío es decidir cuál es mejor, ¿las películas perfeccionadas o la versión cruda en vivo de la que no puedes huir?
