Holding their own, by the second inning, the Braves were in the lead. All the way to the end of the game was a nailbiter, with the last inning resulting in both teams roaring louder and louder. Ultimately, the Yankee coaches could be heard expressing their dismay over the final call of the game, which honestly, was a little bit of a surprise to I think everyone watching.

Before anyone realized the call, the other team was rushing onto the field. At first, I was wondering if it was like when they were battling against the Minnesota Twins, when both teams rushed out of the field like they were going to go at it. However, once everybody started hugging and jumping up and down, it became obvious that the Braves were the winner of that game.

While the Yankee coaches may not have been pleased about the umpire’s call yesterday, they will be happy to be in their home stadium for the remaining game(s) of the championship. Traditionally, it’s the best two out of three, so if the Braves win today, they take home the championship. If the Yankees win it, they will have another game on Sunday, which is already scheduled, like people expect the Yankees to automatically win.
While I may have work obligations for the job that pays me, in my mind, I’ll just say that the Braves won yesterday, and that’s good enough for me to see. Hopefully, they take home the big win. It’s always great to see the underdogs give it to those with the favorite title, almost like a rags to riches, where people may have thought they were out for the count, only to come back, barely make it into the playoffs as a wild card pick, only to take it all is always fun.

If you glanced into the audience, you might have seen Daysbel Hernandez, who was injured most of last season, came back so impressively that he made it to the majors this season, only to get injured again. That's another one I'd not count as being out, as he just proved that he can come back even more vicious than before. He was only one of the many injured players that were still out showing their support for the FCL Braves team, and if you were watching the movement of the players from this year to last year, some faces returned back to the North Port field.

It was nice to see Francisco Floyd on the field, as he is one of those sneaky guys that will do things when nobody is looking. He’s always fun to watch for that factor, and he is one that can perform on-demand. With a little cheer for Francisco, you'll see that little gleam in his eye, and he might just hit a double just to see if you're paying attention.

He snuck in as second baseman, where Luis Sanchez had been for a few games, giving him the opportunity to dominate third base. Though Sanchez has been hitting hard most of the season, in this game, it was tight, 2 to 3, with teammate Isaiah Drake scoring the first run for the Braves, with the first score of the game actually made by the Yankees' Keiner Delgado. Major props to Douglas Glod's beautiful homerun in the second inning.

Both teams tightening up their playing after that dominating display, the next score did not happen until the bottom of the sixth inning with Robert Gonzalez. Though Dylan Jasso answered by back scoring in the top of the seventh for the Yankees, it was not ultimately enough to clench the win in this first round. The tension in the air was enough to make everyone sit on the edge of their seats, not knowing who would be the winning in the end.

Well, the rookie league of the Florida Complex League might not be what the popular people watch, those in the know, realize that these are the rookies that will be the stars in the majors coming up soon.

That’s why people come out of the woodwork‘s that you would not expect to see other stands. If you get a chance to go out to the Yankee clubhouse tomorrow, catch that last game or two and you might be surprised who you run into.

You know the Yankees are going to be out for blood, and this is the classic North versus South setup, where you can't help but wonder if the underdog from the South will rise up to claim this championship title back from the North.
