When there’s four runs in the fourth inning, it sets the tone for the rest of the game. How it happened was odd enough, as the phone rang, someone who was asking how the team was playing. During the phone call was when the four runs happened, as if they knew they had to impress said person.

It’s strange how the spirit of baseball strikes at oddly
timed moments like that, especially since they say that there’s no such thing
as a coincidence. Who are we to know for
sure? Stranger things happen.

It’s a little odd being at the games this year, compared to
last year, as a lot of the players were either not called back or moved up to
another level. It’s like a whole new
crop of players on the field. There are
some faces from last year, and guys finally getting their time on the field
after patiently waiting last year.

The Baltimore Orioles showed up to the game hot, getting
that first impression rose like they were going to steal the game no problem. The Atlanta Braves let them have their
smirks, then put an end to all that.
When Rolando Guiterrez took the field, the time for joking around was
done, as he didn’t want any runs.

Looking stronger than last year, more confident on the
pitching mound, Guiterrez proved himself by pitching the bulk of the game. It wasn’t until the eighth inning where he
might have gotten a little tired. He

they could come back.

The offer definitely made a few of the players smile and got their
attention. They did to try hustle their
best.

Ultimately, their best was not quite good enough in the last
inning to come back from those four runs in the fourth inning that the Braves
had. Miguel Hernandez stepped onto the
pitching mound in the last inning. He
was able to hold off the Orioles from being able to come back for the win they
so badly wanted, but I did not see anyone offer to buy the Braves a round at
the bar, which they really deserved.
En última instancia, su mejor momento no fue lo
suficientemente bueno en la última entrada para volver de esas cuatro carreras
en la cuarta entrada que tuvieron los Bravos.

I did see a whole swarm of fans eager from England who were
tickled pink to each be able to bring home signed balls. I should mention there was one bat broken
during the game, and I know who was hoping to bring it home with him, though
not sure if he was able to score yet another broken game bat or not. It’s fans like him that are there nearly
every game, rooting on all the teams, just loving the fun game.
Vi a todo un enjambre de fanáticos ansiosos de Inglaterra
que se hicieron cosquillas rosadas para poder traer a casa pelotas
firmadas. Debo mencionar que hubo un
bate roto durante el juego, y sé quién esperaba llevarlo a casa con él, aunque
no estoy seguro de si pudo anotar otro bate roto o no. Son fanáticos como él los que están allí casi
todos los juegos, apoyando a todos los equipos, simplemente amando el juego
divertido.
