This might not have the fancy flowers that some ladies crave for romance, but if you want some good down home cooking in a place where people are not afraid to get their hands dirty, then Ford’s Garage more than fits the bill. As far as ambience goes, this one is for the car lovers, as there is literally cars on the outside of the restaurant, as well as in the bar in the middle of the restaurant.

There are a couple of Ford’s Garage locations in Fort Myers, including downtown, not far from the former historic Ford estate, as well as conveniently located off I-75 and Corkscrew at the Miramar Outlets, a perfect location for walking off calories via shopping. Being there many times at this point, I have yet to have a bad experience, as their food and service is always on point. If you’re into cars and food, this is the must-stop for you, as even their bathroom sinks are made from car tires.
