The Florida Everblades will be headed to the Eastern Conference Finals after conquering South Carolina in a best of seven game that took five games instead. Everblades only gave up one win to South Carolina, hungry for that Kelly Cup, but now they face off against West Virgina in the Finals.

The original Kelly Cup was called the Jack Riley Cup. The ECHL retired that in 1996, paving the way for the Patrick J. Kelly Cup, named after one of the founders of the ECHL, which was first awarded in 1997. Interestingly, Kyle Neuber is the only player to have his name engraved on the trophy four times, as he first appeared in 2016, before making three more appearanced with Florida in 2022, 2023, and 2024. While the winners from the North, Wheeling, and the winners from the South, Everblades, square off, the winners from the Central and Mountain division will also face off in the Western Conference Finals, with the Kelly Cup Finals will have the winners from the East and West see who is the best.
